Lisa Liebermann is the youngest daughter of Sammy and Mary Liebermann, founders of Liebermann Pottery. While retaining a rooted connection to the Anglo Eastern philosophies that inspired her parents, Lisa has continued in the spirit of exploration that first brought her parents to clay and glaze. She has studied Fine Art at WITS and with Bill Ainslie. Prized by collectors, Lisa works primrily on commission. To date she has produced and sold a large body of work, some of which is depicted in this gallery. She can be found on most days working in her studio, the Funky Furnace, which she shares with other potters. The Funky Furnace is at the Old Nick Village, Plettenberg Bay.
